The Bright Idea 2023 award will be presented at the largest deep tech fair in the Nordic region.

This year The Bright Idea award ceremony will take place in Øksnehallen at Tietgensgade 65. It will be a festive part of the impressive program at the Digital Tech Summit, taking place the 8th and 9th of November.

The award ceremony for “The Bright Idea” will take place on the keynote stage the first day of the fair, November 8th at 4:30 PM. Moderator, journalist and fellow in AI Ida Ebbensgaard will, in collaboration with chairman of the Board of Otto Mønsted Foundation Nis Alstrup, guide us through the ceremony. During the ceremony Henriette Schultz Kirkegaard will take the stage to share her experiences as a co-founder of 3Dintegratetd and owner of the investment and consulting firm Zephyra ApS.

This year marks the fifth time the Otto Mønsted Foundation honors some of the country’s talents with the award. As in previous years, it will be awarded in two categories, one late-stage and one early-stage. The winners with the best idea, as judged by the jury to have commercial potential in these two categories, will leave the Digital Tech Summit with 250,000 Danish Kroner for further development of their winning project and a beautiful bronze sculpture by sculptor Stine Ring Hansen as a lasting reminder of the honor.

After the 30–45-minute award ceremony, the country’s eight universities, along with the Otto Mønsted Foundation, will offer drinks and the opportunity to network as well as congratulate the winners.

During the Digital Tech Summit, we hope you’ll stop by the Fund’s booth 1103 for a chat, among other things, about the award and potential future participation.

Admission to the Digital Tech Summit is free.
